Yesterday I received a mail telling me that Kobo made a mistake by sending me mails in Italian. It had a 20% promotional code, to be used for 'selected books.'

It appears as though we all got this code, but pffft we would have liked it better if Kobo had made a mistake in the amount of the code instead of the language of the email They should know by now that we just don't "do" 20%ers.

I have never received any email from Kobo, except for when I buy a book. I always make sure the option to receive emails is ticked and my junk mail settings would allow them through, but still, not one email ever. If it wasnt for [pirate site deleted - MODERATOR], I probably wouldnt even know codes existed.
