Aura vs Aura HD---Which is more customizable?
I'm wondering which of the two is more hackable/customizable. Custom fonts, line spacing, margins, etc. Thanks to all in advance for your help.

I think both Aura and Aura HD are equally customizable barring "Android 2.3.4" which you still can't run on Aura.

Pretty much the same for custom fonts, line spacing, margins, etc. The Aura HD is more Android friendly with it's internal uSD card allowing for disaster recovery if you brick it.

If you check the Kobo Developer's Corner, the Instructions for Patching Firmware 3.3.x (also 3.4.1) https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=238175 has a decent collection of information on patching the Kobo firmware.

There are also threads about adding other reader software (KOReader and CoolReader).

I'd go for the HD - it has an internal SD card, so that should problems arise, you could flash your image back and get it working again. The Aura 6" has no internal SD card, so I would be cautious hacking it.
