Harlequin Books Downloaded to Overdrive

Hi. This is probably a dumb question; but, I am having trouble trying to read my e-pub books on my new Fire HD. I am finding the new Fire HD not nearly as friendly as the old Fire. I regret having purchased it--now that I have it, I might as well hang in there with the learning curve. I have about 100 books from Harlequin (purchased); I loaded them in the new HD and they show up on Overdrive, how do I get them into Aldiko.

I also am trying to purchase Mantano Premium; but every site says it will not work on HD and I can not purchase. I installed Chrome, ES reader, 1 Mobile and Dropbox. Help......This is so frustrating.

See here for adding/importing books to Aldiko (if the books still have DRM make sure to register Aldiko to the same Adobe ID before importing)...

The only way I know of to get Mantano would be to buy & install it from the Amazon Appstore on another Android device and then do a backup of the app (Amazon generally marks other reading apps as incompatible for the Fire in their store). This will result in an .apk file that can be sideloaded. We discussed it here...

Thanks for your assistance Brian. My problem is that I do not have another Android device. I will keep trying to "work around".

Overdrive Media Console will let you read library books and non drm epub last I check it is available on the Fire.

I would buy a cheap andriod phone or tablet for about $50 and use it to backup apps to move to your tablet.

Maybe you can install the Amazon appstore in Bluestacks (if you run Windows or can get access to something running it) and back it up through there?

Thanks to both of you for the ideas. I do not have windows--I have apple computer and phone. Too many different operating systems to get everything to work together hee hee. I will continue to experiment. I wish Amazon would not be so difficult to work with on their new Fire. I do enjoy reading Amazon books on the Fire.
