I am. But the next election is inevitable and ignoring or denying it is delusional. (Wait, where are my pills?) But let's move! Oh, and I have just one teensy weensy word I'd like to say, though, while we all prepare to move together: debt (it's a couple or more dollars than we will ever afford paying off so please keep that in mind)

A historic moment has come for the office of President. But more importantly, there are things that this country has needed to do for the past 20-30 years, which have been blocked by lobbyists and greedy politicians. We need to reverse that trend now. America needs to put its differences aside, and start to work together again.

Obama's campaign slogan was "Yes we can."

America's new slogan needs to be "Yes, WE WILL."

Who's with me?
I thought the slogan was "Change we need"?? (nice piece of Yoda-ism there)

I'm waiting for the first time the Democratic congress & president refer to the Republicans as "spoilers" because they don't get one of their "give my money away" programs passed. Should we then remind them of their slogan "Yes, we can!".

Looking on the bright side and going along with the Mayans, The world will end on Dec. 21, 2012, so the pain won't last too much longer.

76. And I stand by my desire to get this administration behind us. I respect the office of the President. I don't respect the current holder. If I met him in person, I would exercice my right as a citizen to say, "It is an honor to meet you, Mr President. I disagree with almost everything you have done in office."

Will Obama do better? I certainly hope so. Would McCain have done better? I certainly hope so. I stand with the majority of Americans in sensing that this country is heading the wrong direction and it is time to move on.

It is not about liberal versus conservative, it is about governing versus running for office. I want a leader, and thankfully, we had two politicians running this time who were capable of leading. VP candidates aside, I would have followed whomever won. Had McCain won, I would have also engaged in some strong meditation on his health. As it is, I will engage in strong meditation on President Obabma's health for the next four to eight years.

You've elected Bob the Builder as president?

(Actually, Steve, Bob the Builder's attitude might not be a bad one, not just for the USofA, but of the rest of the world...)

That'll be next time (if the Mayan's are wrong - if they're right, we won't have to worry about a new president)

Don't like to see people who can't understand that America works on taxes. Not that I like or dislike taxes, myself, but that's just a fact of life. Joe figures his taxes are too high. I figure all of our taxes are probably not high enough. But either way... we have to pay 'em, or this country really will grind to a halt.
