Yes, you can change your amazon address if you really want it. But remember to change it again when you buy something from amazon DE.

I suggest you not do it though.

Happy to say that my battery issue seems to have went away with this update.

Good for you, not mine, but then maybe it lessened and I didn't notice because I am constantly making Collections adjustments. I am just going to bear with it until the 2014 einks come out, and this one will become my collection manager and the new one will constantly have the wifi off for reading only.

I keep wifi off on mine all the time. Unless I want to continue reading on my iPad and want to force a page sync. Or, if I bought a book and want it on my PW2.

Ah, now you can turn off Vocabulary Builder.

And there are less annoying warnings if you work a collection while offline.

Wait, how so? Is there a new update that I don't have yet? Because on 5.4.3.2 my warnings haven't changed (they're still incredibly annoying).

I've always had the ability to turn the Vocabulary Builder off...even with the original firmware on my PW2--purchased in October.

you can view only colectins. in a book there is a option in the menu to view notes (you dont need to press go to then notes . and you cant miss the stars for collections. i mist a fiew updates so some things may be old.

Oh, there are annoyings still, but, if I remember well, in 5.4.3.0, when you went to a collection to add multiple books, the warning "It will not be synchronized" showed each and every book, and, (If I remember well), they do only show one time now, when you start the "add books to collection" task.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

no they still show for every book but it pops up quicker and goes away quicker (when you press ignore)

Updated from 5.4.3.x to 5.4.4.x and my PW1 seems a lot more responsive! Very pleased with that.

Only thing I don't like is that by adding the Page Flip footer, they removed the book position/location summary. I know you can flick through them while reading a book but it's not the same as seeing all info at once.

Still showing on every single sideloaded book for me.

Is it possible that the ones you're adding are amazon books, so the warning wouldn't show up anyway?

Hi,

I have the new 5.4.4.2 update on my PW1, and yes, you can read the entire definition of a word in the popup window.

This update also added goodreads to the PW1 & 2, as well as a feature to allow you to set up your Kindle with a subsection library for your kids to read, which is suposed to allow you to be able to monitor how much your kid reads, and how it uses the dictionary feature.

you must have not updated in a while couse these features aren't new.

I was reading with WiFi on and the PW 2013 rebooted and I ended with an update from version 5.4.3 to 5.4.3.2.
