I can't tell whether this is Amazon discounting the book heavily (& so making very little on each copy), or whether they've managed some amazing deal with the publisher.

Amazon probably discounted them heavily.

BTW, you can get them at Fictionwise in MSReader, Ereader, and Mobipocket. They all have a 50% rebate right now.

I also found the Ralph the mouse books by Beverly Cleary today! I loved those books when I was a kid and now can read them to my grandchildren.

Ghod, I feel old, all of a sudden.
