Ah. I have a dilemma.

There's a humble bundle of DRM-free Doctor Who comics. I rather like Doctor Who. For $15 you get over 60 DRM-free issues.

It's so very tempting....

And yet, I'm over budget....

But not yet over budget for the year....

Go for it, at 0.25$ per issue, it will at least keep your averages low

That would be an easy one for me: I don't count comics.

I tend to buy at least one fairly pricey graphic novel/collection a month, in paper, to support a local shop I value. I don't necessarily read them that quickly.

Having thought about it some more, I've decided to buy the full bundle for $15. I'm especially keen on the multiple-doctors special series.

And yes, I'm well aware that being $45 over budget isn't good. But I'm also agree that I'd regret missing this bundle.

Oh no, I have money burning a hole in my Kobo account and the books I want don't come out until the 27th! I will have to stay strong and not buy anything else until then. I did buy Rescue Mode by Ben Bova today and that should hold me over. It's not like I don't already have hundreds of books to read so I should be able to wait!(hopefully) LOL

Do bear in mind that there will almost certainly be another kobo contest next month!

I admit that the strong possibility of more 75% coupons helps me to hold off on purchases.

Even so, I find myself in mid-May with 97 books read, but 189 books bought...

Yes, I was thinking of waiting until the next contest to buy the two Harlequins since they're couponable. I will probably buy the new Star Trek right away, though.

Oh no, the Dresden Files are on sale and I've wanted to read these books. $1.99 instead of $10.99 is a very good discount. What to do!!!!!

Similar dilemma. I can get them from the library, but I own the first 2 in the series and like them. I did receive a pretty sizable giftcard for Mother's Day so it's not even a money issue. I know I'll read them eventually.

True, the library does have them. But it's a pain to borrow. I'd rather have my own books. I know I like them too, since I read the first one last year. I just never got around to the others, but now I can!

I'm not in the US either, yet they were still on sale on the Canadian site.(for once)
