I voted two weeks ago (and I'm still pissed that I had to write in you and Patricia; where was the montsnmags party lever???). Complain without thinking or voting? I thought that was our national passtime.

man, from the coverage on the radio, you'd think there was nothing at all going on in the rest of the world. yet i can't tear myself away, despite the fact that there will be no results announced until at least midnight (my time).

Yeah, I noticed that they were going big on coverage here in Sweden as well. One of our channels is doing live coverage in place in the US almost all evening.

oh, now don't do that !! the results will still be the same when you get home from your class. and furniture making is infinitely more worthy than election coverage on the idiot box.

I'm trying to keep away from the coverage today. I find election coverage, especially as the votes come in, to be strangely addictive. Of course, it's much, much worse when it's an election I can actually vote in. I even have the radio off.

i am about to go turn the radio off. they can't have anything interesting to say for hours anyway, they're just going on and on about how "there's still a lot of suspense" about the results, and the occasional interview with someone who just voted, or is about to vote...

Ah yes, the fine art of avatarmaking, I remeber back in my youth when we had to chisel them out on granite-blocks by the light of the wax-candles... Those were the days.

We will have to vote after work, because there was nowhere to park this morning at the polling place. The church parking lot was full, the meadow across from there, all up and down the street, cars everywhere.

There were even some big luxury charter buses bringing in folks. At least they didn't have to try to find a parking spot.
