HELP
I have just received a koboglo and I love it BUT I had an iTunes account shared with my husband (his email) and have personalised my kobo with my email. Am I able to merge my books of my iTunes account onto the kobo without having to change to his email? I am not very technical so please be PATIENT ![]() Cheers |

danicca is correct. Apple does not allow iBooks to be used on any devices other than iDevices.
That alone is not so uncommon. All Most distributors use DRM to limit the devices a book may be read on (this is a demand of many publishers though some do opt out), but... The DRM on Kobo books, Amazon books, Nook books Google books, can all be broken, thus allowing you to read your purchases freely; however, Apple seems to spend more money protecting iBooks than licensing content ![]() Now you know, you can avoid buying books in iBooks and any future purcases you make can be read on any device you want (sometimes with help from Apprentice Alf's tools --google him). ![]() Last edited by eschwartz; 05-11-2014 at 02:40 PM. |

One also has to be careful in that some eBooks make use of epub3 features and even IF DRM is removed (or not present in the first place), not all readers grok the features the same way. (While I realize the same is true for ePub2 features, I believe it is even worse for ePub3).
