Yes but I haven't seen any differences in behaviour compared to 3.7.0.

Looks like they fuggered up the font face. Mine is now using what looks like an Impact font for the menus and book descriptions. Looks like absolute crap.

Would you be able to post a screenshot? What OS and version are you running the app on?

I've just got 3.7.1 and on my setup (OS X 10.9.2) the font type is looking ok

When you are actually reading a book the font is normal. Just the menus & book synopsis that are messed up:

Very good question. Going to have to uninstall and reinstall and see if that fixes it, not that I really use the Kobo app anyway.

I like the Kobo desktop for setting up my ereader after a log off or a factory reset -- the physical keyboard is much easier for entering my password.

A couple of Kobo ereaders are not able to run their setup using wifi after a factoty reset since the factory reset firmware version is too old making the Desktop a necessity for them as well.

Hmmm... since one person mentioned handing their original Kobo off to their husband, that unit does not have WiFi so you need to use USB and the Desktop app to load books purchased from the Kobo store.

And finally, the most important use for me for the Desktop app -- a new version is often released immediately prior to a new firmware version.

I use it to get a copy of my book when a book I bought is kePub only. Other than that I haven't used it for anything at all.

Thanks for the screenshot. Looks like Windows, but can you tell me what version of windows?

If you could give it an uninstall and reinstall and let me know if the problem is still there then I'll pass it onto the team responsible for the desktop app and see if they have any ideas.

Yes I should answer all your questions Sorry I'm running Windows 7, fully updated. Just did the uninstall/reinstall for the second time and no change. Thought that maybe some file was being left over from the update, still possible but I couldn't find it.

Strange. I also use Windows 7 fully patched and my menus look fine.

I wonder if it might be related to the fonts you have installed and how the Desktop looks for fonts.
