Yes but I haven't seen any differences in behaviour compared to 3.7.0. Regards, David Last edited by DNSB; 05-07-2014 at 11:31 PM. |

Looks like they fuggered up the font face. Mine is now using what looks like an Impact font for the menus and book descriptions. Looks like absolute crap.

For what reason is the font for the menus bolded?

A couple of Kobo ereaders are not able to run their setup using wifi after a factoty reset since the factory reset firmware version is too old making the Desktop a necessity for them as well. Hmmm... since one person mentioned handing their original Kobo off to their husband, that unit does not have WiFi so you need to use USB and the Desktop app to load books purchased from the Kobo store. And finally, the most important use for me for the Desktop app -- a new version is often released immediately prior to a new firmware version. Regards, David

If you could give it an uninstall and reinstall and let me know if the problem is still there then I'll pass it onto the team responsible for the desktop app and see if they have any ideas.

Sorry I'm running Windows 7, fully updated. Just did the uninstall/reinstall for the second time and no change. Thought that maybe some file was being left over from the update, still possible but I couldn't find it.

I wonder if it might be related to the fonts you have installed and how the Desktop looks for fonts.
