The new Onyx M96 has a 9.7" e-ink screen and runs open Android. Hard to beat for pdf reading, I imagine. I imagine it's expensive, but a lot less than Sony's pdf-only super-expensive product. Onyx are also releasing a 6.8" reader, also Android, which will be an improvement over 6".

There is i86 as well. It is an 8 inch ereader with very high resolution screen.
I will prefer this size for general reading.

The hardware of M96 is nearly the same as M92, So I hope that it won't cost more than $400. I also hope pocketbook or some other manufacturers start releasing competent devices so that we won't have skewed prices.

I think you mean "competing devices", not "competent devices".

I have a tremendous admiration for people like you who write in MR in what is, to you, a foreign language!
