I'm unsure of what you mean, but I have the following in the cover bit,

## If you have the Generate Cover plugin installed, you can use the
## generate_cover_settings parameter to intelligently decide which GC
## setting to run. There are three parts 1) a template of which
## metadata part(s) to look at, 2) a regular expression to match the
## template, and 3) the name of the GC setting to use, which must
## match exactly. Use this parameter in [defaults], or by site eg,
## [ficwad.com]

Quote tagged content doesn't show spaces. Use code tagged content instead.

Judging by the notice email, it looks like you do have spaces before each line, but you also added a space before generate_cover_settings which is wrong.

I just ran into a strange error on two different AO3 stories I was updating.

'NoneType' object has no attribute 'findAll'

Thankfully, when I tried the link in the ID it went to a screen telling me there was no such story. I usually see 'NoneType' errors when I mess up coding my personal ini, so I didn't realize that it meant the story was gone.

Luckily the above story had been replaced (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1014338) by the author. However, when I tried to add the new url and said yes to overwriting the old url, it did not update. I eventually deleted the story and then added the new url. It worries me that the story did not overwrite when I told it to and thought I should mention it.

ok it seems this is a new thing to happen in the last day or so. but i've tried to update or add new stuff from http://storiesonline.net/ and have it totally fails is this just me or have they changed something to they're stuff and its now everyone. ok this known to everyone already somehow i didnt even see the stuff posted which is sad for me sorry to double post

Robin42069: What's happening with storiesonline? I haven't seen any errors reported. I'll do some tests, but if you are seeing errors, it helps to know what they are.

I see. The format of links to stories from the author pages has changed. Hence, when searching for the story, it isn't found and it gets stuck in a loop. Try the attached version. It is working here.

well for me i copy and try to paste a link for any story from there and it wont show up in the ffdl box at all. even trying to update a story that needs it from there isnt working for me. ok i did the Manuel update with jimms thingy and yeah it just seemed to want to fetch meta data now.ill be back to play with this later in the morning right now its late. ill see if its just my comp and crap rather than a problem with the ffdl.

ok after i leave i see your last post and i update it manuely it works great again so you seem to fix it even as we talk about it and i just about to quit for the night so. i have no problem anymore great work on helping even as im working on that at same time. so everything is fixed it looks like i can close this reply down thank you for the help. damn that was quick as hell

Here's a version that has davidfor's fix and a fix to recognize AO3 'not found' stories.

I haven't been able to replicate Jade's problem--the URL update warning and replacement works fine for me.
