Anyone going to the India site will find that the Top 50 books, which are the first slider heading on the page, shows a number of the very very cheap books (as in cents), from a variety of genres. And this list is constantly changing - well it has every time I've looked at it.

So, currently there are some history and biography books eg
Zeppelin Nights
London in the First World War

A Broken World
Letters, diaries and memories of the Great War

The Spy with 29 Names
The story of the Second World War’s most audacious double agent

I ended up with 16 books today, not counting the freebies.

Yes, I meant to say that lots & lots of those Shire books are free.

Some other random finds:
--The Mangle Street Murders by Kasasian is 49 RS - Victorian mystery
--There are 4 Catherine Aird mysteries around 200RS ea, much cheaper than US
--Most of the Miss Read titles are around 300 RS, again, cheaper than US
--My Crazy Century, memoir by Czech writer Ivan Klima, is discountable to
194 RS - US price is $15
--Balancing Act by Joanna Trollope - 1.59
--Children of War, Martin Walker's newest Bruno, chief of police title, is on pre-order for 310 RS

Apart from the very very cheap books you will also notice a further number of books at 167 INR 167 (AUD2.89), and they're discountable. I tested with fbr50 (which makes them AUD1.44)

So true! I ended up buying 12 books for 16.60INR and I have pre-ordered some more. But oddly I saw the price fluctuate, the Nigella Lawson books showed up in my basket at 1000+ INR so I removed them and added them again to get the price at an acceptable level
