Something wierd I'm noticing in 3.3. My Aura HD isn't showing any of my Comic books or Manga. I can't find it in the search, nor in my book listing. I just double checked with calibre (and looking at the card) that the files are there. Is there something I need to do to read them again, or had kobo dropped support for digital comics?

I was nearly convinced to update my Mini from 2.8.1 to obtain the FullScreenMode, but after reading about all those speed issues and bugs, I'll probably skip that update.....


What about kepub mode for side-loaded books - do full reading stats work? I remember that they had been disabled with some later firmware. This has been another reason for me to stick with 2.8.1...

@uboot: personally I don't have speed problems. Yes, closing a book is more slow, but now last page is displayed immediately if you reopen it. But I use the internal SD only.

Which speed issues? The only one I can think of is when new books are processed. It it probably worse than 2.8.1, but is better than 3.2.0. But, the main issue was the SD card. As the Mini doesn't have one...

Not to be rude, but that has been asked and answered several times in this thread. And if it was fix, don't you think you would hear it screamed from the rooftops?

And no, Kobo have not enabled this.

I've downloaded the zip file, unzipped and placed the contents into the main drive of my KOBO Aura but nothing happens. How can get the upgrade to start?

I can also confirm that the web browser has become hard to use due to the virtual keyboard.
It is also impossible to to scroll/swipe the web page.

Suggestion: consider to add the character "/" to the main keyboard layout as it is needed when entering a url manually. Take also in consideration to add the "Caps Lock" function to the Shift function: keep the alphabet displayed in uppercase letters until the shift function is pressed again.

Positive note: the dog ear issue of fw 3.2.0 seems to be solved. With fw 3.2.0 the dog ear randomly appeared when tapping the lower right screen area (close to the bottom edge of the screen) instead of going to the next page.

Oh no, don't do that. It has to go in the .kobo folder. You can mess the device up, putting it in the main folder!

Pressing the shift button twice turns on the CAPS lock. Press it again to release it.
