it's about time intervall between keypress and screen update.

It seems much faster to me. If you notice, Lunohod is not pressing the "forward" key repeatedly. He presses once, the screen refreshes quickly, then he pauses a second before pressing the "forward" key again. The time between the key press and the refresh is fast. The time between the refresh and the next key press is where the delay is. Maybe Lunohod should make a new video and press the key faster this time!

It's not possible to increase overall page turn speed. The screen controller is too slow. There are other reasons, but the most time consuming operation is pushing data into the controller.
However, it is possible to minimize the latency while turning the page forward. On my video you can see that the screen is refreshing immediately upon the keypress(turn the sound on to hear the clicks). |

I see - you've found a way to prepush next page into the controller. This is also great improvement for an average user (next page appears approximately as fast as on Sony). Sad that it is impossible to improve overall (forward and backward) page turning speed.
PS: awaiting for OI 0.2 with MadPDF and other improvements! |
