I'm glad I'm not that particular or finicky. I'm just happy to have so many stories all in one volume!

![]() And on my PW, I like to use the time left in book feature and it doesn't work when its one long file. I don't know where I am at when I am reading, how far in the story. The percentage is all messed up too of course. The Exposed one I just got for example is so badly formatted, there is no go to menu. I can't even go from story to story using the go to feature. No chapters are listed anywhere. ![]() |

I thought ePub split had a feature where you could open each section to see what it had. I uninstalled the plugin or I would check.
You could always open the Epub in Edit Book and delete the unwanted sections. I know if you double-click on the section in the left side panel it brings up the HTML for it in the middle with the preview panel on the right. May take longer than with ePub split, but you'd have control over what ended up in the book(s). Dear Author just had a tutorial on using ePub split the other day http://dearauthor.com/ebooks/using-e...tion-box-sets/ |

When I've had issues, I've had better luck when I convert the AZW3 file to epub instead of unpacking it. Maybe something to do with the kindle programming that goes away when you unpack the epub. If you convert the kindle file to epub, there might be programming there that will help with split identification. I don't know these things for sure, I am no Blossom Calibre Queen ( ![]() |

I honestly have no clue what edit book is and what I would do with html. I am barely getting it with that epub split plugin and the unwrap or what its called.
This is all beyond my capabilities I think. And since the original file has no go to menu, I am not even sure the plugins can find whats what. There are no chapters listed at all. Only thing there is is a list of the books in the beginning with a link to them. So I had to go and make a bookmark at the beginning of each book. Its going to be really weird having to read a book that starts with location 23574. The last book starts at 32178. I'll have to do math while reading. Shudders ![]() |

![]() And I'm with Atunah, if it doesn't split easily, then I just leave it. But this is also why I have a few boxsets that haven't even been 'opened' yet and I think I'm trying to avoid them. Or maybe it's just because my TBR pile is too darn big. ![]() ![]() ![]() And, let's continue to add to that pile. This book is rated very high and sounds fun, just came on sale $.99 Frenched by Melanie Harlow blurb: When Tucker Branch, playboy heir to Branch Bolt and Screw, screws and bolts a week before their wedding, Mia Devine wants nothing more than to crawl under her newly monogrammed sheets and plan a funeral for her dignity. But her friends convince her that bitter tastes better when it’s drowned in Bordeaux, so Mia grits her teeth and packs her bags, determined to make the best of her luxurious Paris honeymoon—alone. She never planned on meeting Lucas Fournier. The easygoing bartender’s scruffy good looks and less-than-sympathetic ear annoy her at first, but when she takes him up on his offer to show her around the city, she discovers that the romance of Paris isn’t just a myth. Nor is the simultaneous O. The last thing Mia needs is another doomed love affair, but since she only has a week, she figures she might as well enjoy la vie en O with Lucas while she can. But each day—and night—with Lucas is better than the last, and suddenly her heart is telling her this is more than a rebound fling. Is it just the seduction of Paris…or could this be the real thing? "Melanie Harlow's contemporary debut is funny, sexy and sweet. Fans of Alice Clayton will love it!" --Laurelin Paige, NYT bestselling author |

Atunah, as Blossom has set, use Edit book. You have the file list in the left zone in the screen and, when you select any of them, you can see in the right zone the content. It will be slower, but I think it can helps.

Today's ARe series showcase title (4/17-4/18) is Make Mine a Cowboy by Sandy Sullivan, book one in the Cowboy Dreamin' series.

This will likely be my last update on the ARe promotion (which ends 4/21-4/22) as I'll be mostly out of touch starting tomorrow. |

![]() I now split the book from the set before reading as Time Left To read is important feature for me and it wouldn't be accurate if I read a bundle. |
