This might be a little out of topic based on the conversation, but here's what I'm experiencing with my Glo with the latest firmware. - touch function seems to be deteriorating. I've posted this here before but here is an update to the issue. It seems that whenever I get to the end of a book, and you swipe to turn the page, it should automatically exit the book and display it as finished on your home screen. But mine seems to like bookmarking stuff. When I swipe or touch at the last page, my Glo would bookmark it then exit the book. - Sleep bugs. Whenever I put my Glo to sleep, it will "blink" like 5 or more times before finally going to sleep (the same with the switch up top and the sleep cover. And speaking of the sleep cover, it's mostly useless right now. It seems to respond less after the update. Most of the times when I open the cover, it would not wake my Glo. I would have to close it again the reopen it. Those are my main concerns about the latest upgrade. But aside for those problems, I like the other additional features. |

I also see a problem where if I finish the book, the home page doesn't get displayed. If I tap again about 30 seconds late, the home page is displayed. Opening the collections list does the same thing. Quote:
I do know that Kobo are working on these problems. Hopefully, they will be in the next firmware version. | ||

I'm actually reading a series of books that quote a lot of latin and so on. All quotes are at the of the book as note numbered. First thing it's hard to select a quote number (I read on a kobo Aura 6") second thing is when I search inside the book, I go to the right page to find the note corresponding, but for some books, when I had read the note, I could go back to where I first was by taping on the "back" arrow at the bottom of the screen. Now, when I tape this arrow, it behaves as if I'd tapped the cross that is at the right bottom and I stay at the end of the book. The easiest way to go back where I was is to select the number of the quote and search again inside the book. I don't know why it has worked and doesn't anymore...

Just got my new Aura SD, it upgraded to 3.20 as soon as I turned it on, but there is no sharpness setting anymore or it is hidden underneath the preview panes.

Kobo changed to just one slider. It is labelled "Weight", but does both weight and sharpness.

I was afraid of that, I already turned it up as far as it goes and it looks good with the light off but as soon as I turn the light on, the font becomes all washed out. My light is also very, very yellow, not sure if this is normal for the Aura SD or whether I just should have gotten an Aura HD. The only comparison I have is my Kindle Paperwhite 1, where the screen is much more grayish, which feels better on my eyes than the sunshiny yellow...
