This week I finished Goodnight June by Sarah Jio, Satisfaction by Sarah Mayberry and am about halfway through The Duke's Tattoo by MIranda Davis, which is very funny!

I didn't finish any books this week!!! Still working my way through 700 pages of R. Lee Smith's Heat. So far it's good but violent. Not on the same level as Gann but will probably score a 4. Up next is J.R. Ward's The King, another long one.

I ended up picking up some must have new releases and a bunch of bargain stuff using some of my settlement credits.

I grabbed the Tempting Fate box set for the Lund/Ward/Keeland titles listed in my purchases. It's only $0.99 and is couponable at Kobo. Formatting was good and it split easily. Kindle | Kobo

I'm also planning on picking up the Dangerous Dozen box set when it releases on Tuesday, mainly for the Wainscott backlist title. Also $0.99 and couponable at Kobo. Kindle | Kobo

Has anyone else run across any interesting box sets? If so, which titles made you want to buy it?

For those of you who are up to date on author blogs, etc. Who is the author that just recently 'resigned' from writing due to online bullying and says that she can no longer afford to publish?

No big deal, just a comment I read made on good reads but they didn't want to name the author. It just made me curious.

I bought 4 books this weeks.

I read:

Unwound by Lorelei James (4 stars): It had it's moments but was no where as good as the first one. So many unleft characters though. The author needs to write more books in this world. What about Knox or Deacon and Shiroi or the new girl what happens to them. I want to know their stories.

I am reading:

Over The Edge by Suzanne Brockmann: I am really enjoying this book unlike the last two this one has a nice pace and good cast of characters. It's keeping me distracted which I really need right now.

OT: I didn't get much reading in this week after nursing hubby back to health and him losing his job...he is driving me nuts. So I'm on the hunt for him a job. I had hope he wouldn't revert but he has. I have found him every job but one the last 15 years we have been together. He's hated them all but he wont go looking himself and expects me to do it while he sits around and mopes and makes messes for me to clean up. Lucky me. His parents aren't helping his mood by berating him. I am getting the brunt of it all. So if any of you know some good job sites or have any good tips please PM me them. Thanks.

I plan to do more reading. I may have to shut myself in the bedroom to just get a moment of peace. I am looking at Fighter MMA books can someone recommend the really good ones? I don't have time to look for myself. Thanks.

Have you saw a book on sale and thought: oh yeah I bought that awhile ago then later you realize you don't own that book but a similar one and the other book is now back to full price!

I found that my brain has gotten so leaky with books and book titles. I used to be able to remember everything but not any longer. I need to start adding more to Goodreads or Shelfari because when I see the cover image it usually helps me remember more details about each title. Anyhow, I just got a review copy of Against the Cage by Sidney Halston (Loveswept title from a new series--Worth the Fight--about MMA fighters, pub date May 27th) but I haven't read it yet.

I didn't see this one come up in search - Mimi Strong is a fav contemporary indie author - the box set is a mix of contemporary and paranormal, says it is 9 stand-alone stories:
