Do you ever use the inside pocket of ereader case?
I find them quite useless. They are being advertised for credit cards, tickets, notes etc but... right like I am ever going to put my credit card in there. I once put dried daisies inside because my son gave me a few but that's about it. My current case doesn't have inside pocket but a strap to slide fingers in which I find much more useful.

My mom keeps a list of books that she has read on a piece of paper in it so that when I am up there I can take off those books and load more for her.
That's all I could come up with! I never saw the need for them either. A strap makes more sense to me too. S |

I often wonder the same thing. However maybe it's because women usually keep those kinds of things in our handbag, in which the ereader also goes!

I used the one in my Sony's case all the time. Reading lists, books I wanted to follow up on, little notes to myself. Did the same with the case my KK3 was in. My Nook's case doesn't have one and I miss it.

On my K3 I had the lighted leather case from Amazon and the Smak-Dab clip that was being sold to prevent one from opening it backwards. I used to remove the clip and slip pieces of paper behind the Kindle and replace the clip if I wanted to keep it handy, yet fairly secure. I often used it for train tickets, poking out just enough that I could easily pull it out if they came by to check fares. I kind of miss that with my Paperwhite with official case as I now have nowhere convenient to stick my ticket. :-)
Otherwise, though, I don't like internal pockets and I'm very wary of anything that makes the inside of the case lumpy as I've had a broken screen (My Newton MP120) from a cover that didn't close completely. |

I give them to the kids when they need them and then take them back. There have been lost cards.

I'd stash money in it--if I had a case with a pocket.

I used to keep my add-on light in mine. I don't use one at the moment (no idea where I put the one I mentioned), but I would probably put a couple mechanical pencils, a Field Notes notebook, and oversized index cards instead now.

I've never used the pocket in any of my reader cases.

I've only ever kept a list of abbreviations for the books of the Bible. Don't laugh, some were two letters and some three, and not all were perfectly obvious. Other than that, I don't use pockets in my cases.
I just realized that when they stole my K3 they got my Bible Book list, too. Well, and the bible that was actually on the reader. LOL Maybe they used it??? Doubt it. |

In the past I've used the inside pocket to hold little 3x5 cards with lists of books in different series so I could keep up with where I was in the series but I no longer do that. Most of the molded cases these days don't have inside pockets.

![]() I have two different covers for my PRS-T1: 1) The original Sony cover which I've had to reglue a couple times but still use if I'm carrying a small handbag, because it's a slim cover and fits in tight spaces. It doesn't have any pockets. 2) A Gecko cover which I use with larger handbags where there's room for the reader to rattle around. It does have a tiny pocket but I don't keep anything in it. It wouldn't hold much anyway. Like Bookwormgirl, I keep any little odds and ends in my handbag. |
