Go game on Kobo
Hello folks, i was wondering if anyone had managed to install a game of Go on a Kobo. This thread makes me believe it is feasible, but i have no idea of what to do.
Please help! |

The only free Go complete game (not only an engine) for Linux is Gnu Go and it's quite old. You can use the turn on the wifi and play it at http://www.peepo.com/

How about installing Android?
You can install Android and the use any Go programs like, for example, "Go free" or "Gomoku".

Android is OK
Android is OK, you can install many programs that work OK.
The battery last less, I would say battery life might be halved. I kill any application that is not necessary but it last less than Nickel. I wonder why. I also have a Nook ST with Android and it seems to have much more battery time. However, if you want to use other programs to play simple games, read comics, etc. it is quite handy. Also you have great choice of ereader programs (Cool Reader might be the best, at least the best looking one). Other go programs for Android (I dont know if they work for Android 2.2): Godroid, Elygo, Silver Star, dg囲碁, Gobandroid HD, Juego GO Gratis... Regards. Last edited by zufre; 04-03-2014 at 07:30 AM. |
