Snow!?!?!

Did I miss something? What happened to fall? As of last night, snow has officially struck here and today the cold white stuff appeared en mass. Though Weather.com predicts I’ll see some more today and tomorrow, and be back to the usual rainy skies next week...

We did have snow also in some parts of France.
There already are some non-montainous parts of France that start the day under 0°C (Lille, for instance) ...
Happily for me, it did not snow on the road to work, but I fear that it will come soon.

I think that we should also write an obituary for fall, the same as for Common Sense ...

But the weather is wierd ... We are having 0 degree C temperatures here in Stockholm as well, and they have issued traffic warnings about snow heading our way. And that is WAY too early... global warming my hairy bu... leg!

It snowed here Tuesday night, but got washed away by morning. It's still chilly out though, brrr.

It depends on how high you want to climb up the mountains.

Seriously though, even for us this is a bit early, and if I recall correctly, last year, winter was rather pitiful (with more rain than anything).

It snowed at work (London) Tuesday night (first time in October since 1937) and at home (Hampshire). There is snow on cars and the roads at home, but the snow in London is all gone.

Global warming my bottom.

I haven't had snow yet, but it was really chilly this morning when I came to work (3°C), so the hot cocoa is really welcome.

No snow with us, but it's been a bit chilly this week. -3C, according to my car's thermometer when I set off to work yesterday morning, and I had to scrape ice off all the windows.
