Yes, that's exactly what we were doing. You would think that it would be easy to express something like that ... but today, I just don't seem to be able to do that.

I think I need some chocolate. That will make everything right. Oui??

don't worry about it, it happens to the best of us. perhaps i am just feeling particularly dense today. but chocolate is always a good thing, oui. if you have eggs you can make a cake in 5 minutes in your microwave. according to patricia, it's quite good.

Really? I think if you just dedicate yourself to coherence, logic, succinctness and rationality, you'll find communication is quite easy. Anything else would be silly.

These are my Bengals. They are from 2 different litters so even though they are the same age, they are very different. The come from Absolutley Bengals Cattery which has a good website, http://www.absolutelybengals.com/ with truly amazing pictures. Bengals all have green eyes so I tried to choose a few of my pictures that show it. When the girl was fixed we found out that her spots are actually in her skin, not just her coat. This is a hybrid breed - domestics bred with Asian Leopard Cats (the smallest of the "wild" ones) so they look fairly exotic without many of the issues (like thinking humans are food). It also makes the kittens look very different than the adults so I included a baby picture of my boy. A side bonus is that for me and my neice the Bengals do not set off our allergies.

And yes, the girl is standing on top of our bathroom door and you see the hallway light fixture on the other side of the doorframe.

SaraD, those are some beautiful kittens. Are they loveable? When we had two cats some years ago, they were very loveable to each other, but weren't really 'lap' cats. What are their personalities like?

I'm not sure what this bit means, Sara. The Dingo is a species of wild dog in Australian (made infamous through one particular dog's infanticidal actions), while the Blue Heeler is a domesticated, working breed of dog...well, a subset of the Australian Cattle Dog (there's also a Red Heeler, or they're all called Queensland Heelers too). They're a very smart, tough, hard-working breed, with enormous stamina (and sense of humour). I've a soft spot for them too, though they're not the breed for me (I'm none of the above...well, maybe the "sense of humour" bit )..

Cheers,
Marc

My grandfather was given a dog and told it was a Dingo. Another gentleman that had one that was obviously the same breeding also called it a Dingo. My aunt rescued a red one and she was told he was a Red Dingo. Years later, however, I met another dog with the same appearance who was called a Blue Heeler. It may be that properly they are called Red or Blue Heelers depending on color. Many years ago somebody in the Inland Northwest, eastern Washington, north Idaho, and western Montana) may simply have decided they looked like Dingos and the name stuck. For example, the "north" Idaho instead of "northern" is not a mistake, that is how the long-term residents say it. The rest of you description is a perfect match for Granpa's Miss Molly D Grove (the D was for dog) as whe was called and for 18 years she was his amazing companion.

Dusty and Cayenne are loving and cuddly to the point it is almost too much. They alway sleep with us, Dusty brings toys so you will play with him, Cayenne will sit in your lap anytime you make a lap for 2 minutes, they follow us around the house, and when Dusty wants me to hold him he pats my upper leg so I will sit down and hold him right now. I think part of it is the breed, but a huge part is the amount of time my husband and I spent holding, petting, and playing with them since we brought them into our home 4 years ago. My husband picked the brown girl, Cayenne, and I picked the silver boy, Dusty. What is unusual is that she is still mostly his cat and Dusty is still mostly my boy. Oh, and when Joe is gone on business trips, Cayenne will sit on his bed pillow and scold me very loudly like I am supposed to produce him right now thank you very much.

Oh, gosh ... here in Texas no one would ever confuse an Australian Cattle Dog (Red or Blue Heeler) with a Dingo. The Heeler is an extremely popular breed here, in fact the Moon's dog Daisy is a Blue Heeler.

The Dingo (which as Marc mentioned is a wild dog) is much rangier ... for the most part it has a body that reminds me more of a coyote. The Heelers are stronger and stockier dogs ... and amazing herding dogs. Daisy is forever biting at my heels to herd me around when I go to visit Mrs. Moon.

Artistically, the Heeler breed has also been immortalized by George Rodrigue in his "Blue Dog" paintings (which I absolutely LOVE). His gallery site is http://www.georgerodrigue.com/.

And .... the Bengal kitties are gorgeous!!!
