Hi, does anyone know how I can add the blurb of a book to ebooks on kindle paperwhite 2? I'd like to read what a book is about before I read it and sometimes a book can sit in my library for a while before I get around to reading it.

Hi all my books are already converted using calibre will it damage the books to convert again?

Seems to work on the few I have tried, thank you but what about those purchased from Amazon & is it possible to do more than 1 at a time?

Modern Kindles use AZW3 format. The Polish tool can update those formats and EPUB without further conversion.

If you put it in preferences it will work on a bulk convert if you uncheck the box (upper left corner) use saved conversion settings.

I always reconvert rather than polish, but many prefer to polish/edit. I have the original file tweak on so I am always starting with the original file so no additional conversion changes AFAIK. If the original file tweak is on you can easily restore from original if you decide at some point you want to start over. For instance if you decided to change all of your jackets or have no jackets then it is pretty simple to change. Other ways to do it, but works best for me.

I convert all of my books because I like consistent spacing, justification etc. and if I change my preference for some reason, I can reconvert and change all at once without undo head scratching. Works for me.

Thank you everyone, the polish tool seems to be working for me so that's a bonus. If I could just find a way of checking the books on my that I have read it would be brilliant.
