I only have gift cards on my account at all times and the $2.99 Agency book came out but the Kindle Direct Publishing books I bought which was 4 of the for 99 cents each did not but it could be they will later add this to the total or they didn't fully implement it yet.

I bought the $2.99 book first and then the 4 KDP books later that week so who knows how Amazon is really doing this.

Ah, there it is, thanks a lot Blossom. I am a bit fuzzy on pain killers from dental work. So my brain is trying to keep up.

Strange thing is that once I hit that on one book, suddenly it told me under the price that settlement credit will be automatically applied. It didn't say that until I hit that pop up. I tested it and it worked. I am reading a quirky urban fantasy series right now so I got the 3rd in that series to test. Its Carina Press and it counted.

There are a couple of other books that won't be out until May, so I'll keep some money in there. I think I'll take some time to make a list off the stuff coming out and I am waiting on. I know there is the 5th in the Kathleen Tuner series coming up in May and I must have that or die.


eta: I have to pay for the tax though on each book. Its not much and I guess that comes out off the gift card balance.

Well heck this is going fast, I found a list I already had of books and I just bought 4 in a row. Its so much fun

I'm still waiting for Sony, Kobo (+Borders), All Romance eBooks, and Penguin.

Did they mention what the settlement amounts were. I first figured it out at the 30¢/$1.32 rate but it was supposed to be more.

Most books were $0.73 each, NY Times best sellers $3.17.

Assuming Apple loses it's appeal we may be getting even more . . .

I've only spent 99 cents of my settlement credit so far! I guess since it's good for a year I should pace myself. I bought Sapphire Dream by Pamela Palmer which I was thrilled to discover was out as an ebook (originally published with the same title under the name Pamela Montgomerie). Saw it on my wishlist from a few years ago and I remember that I had it from the library and never finished it for some reason

Okay, so if I figured the NYT part right, I should be getting $94.04 between the four places.

I wish we got the books purchased in the later half of 2012. I bought a lot more after the deadline than before
