Just hunting for that elusive 75% for one fairly expensive book. I cannot believe I hardly got anything higher that 35%. Oh well... Not giving up yet

Can you pay by PayPal? It's more work but it's worth it. You just click the "Edit Info" button at the top, and you have whatever options you normally have. Here are the steps I follow:

Search for the book.
Right click on the book and open in a new window.
Repeat until I have all the books I want to buy open.
Then I do each step for each page before I move to the next step:
Check each book page and make sure that it shows the platforms you can use it on (if it doesn't have that I don't buy it because then it's a PDF usually) then click on Buy Now.
Enter the code and click Apply.
Then I go through and click Buy Now for two and then wait until those go to the thank you page before I go to the next two tabs.

If that's what you're doing, do you get the error when you click "Buy Now" or does it look like it's processing and then give you the error?

The more information you give me the more I can try to help you troubleshoot.

Yes, I only use the new checkout. I have been paying with store credit, but I will try with PayPal and see if that works.

The error I get is the screen goes gray and a pop up box appears saying there was an error processing my payment.

I've tried this on all browsers: IE11, Safari5, FF28, Chrome33. Always new checkout as suggested. Like Zelda said in above post, it will work in first tab, then the consequent tabs gives payment error. [yes, code applied to all tabs first before hitting 'buy now'] I've even tried on other computers in the house, PC and laptop, no luck. I'm not too worried about it but I know others would like this problem solved on why it works for some and not others. NBD to me really but thank you for offering to help myself and others with same issues.

For me, this has happened with a certain MasterCard. No matter what I tried, it would only do one tab. So maybe it's payment method? Visa and Visa GC's are the only forms I've found that have always worked without issue....

They are one use codes. Only work around is opening multiple tabs, or sometimes using the code within minutes of someone else.

mindwarp, thanks for replying. I almost always have a GC in the Kobo account so for me, this is not an issue. I'm hoping this is helping narrowing it down for others.
