I just picked up the Audible of Rock Chick. It just came out today and the narrator KA picked does an amazing job! The rest come out in June but the first one is now available so if you got a credit and you wanted something entertaining this is it.

I think the first Rock Chick book will always be my favorite. The humor it has I wish could have spilled into the rest of the series.

thanks for the heads-up - the narrator sounds pretty good, so i'm gonna pick it up. i still think susan erickson is a narrator supreme, but susannah jones also delivers.

What did you think of her male voices? I bought Motorcycle Man narrated by Kate Russell, and I hated her narration. Her male voices were bad, especially Tack's and many of her other voices I found really annoying. Her rendition of Elvira was abominable. One of the few books I've returned to Audible. I love KA so it was a severe disappointment, and I am afraid of being burned again!

Free: Embrace by S.E. Hall. This is book 2, book 1 was previously free also. I thoroughly enjoyed this series, definitely NA, but no cliffhangers IIRC.

I actually like her male voices although I've heard better but the woman can really do voice acting you feel Indy come alive. She is new but very talented I stayed up all night listening even though I've read this book it's feels like a completely new experience listening to it.

People need to hire this narrator she will do well with NA or YA titles. She's very good at first person. She's amazing at putting the right emphasis on words.

Good morning! I haven't gone on my Kobo coupon buying spree yet - I don't know what to buy!!! My top "to buy" list books aren't even available at Kobo - hoping for some inspirations in your confessions today!

I haven't bought much yet, either. And since I started working on my "Dates aka Hopefully Last Great Calibre Project of Doom", I didn't have much reading time.

Read:

• Double Exposure by Charmaine Ross (C+/3 stars) Was a 2-star up until the last chapter. I love when books can do a turnaround like that

FYI: The Cindy Gerard books in my buy report have original titles/covers, but are for sale under new titles: Dream Lover (was Dream Tide), Renegade (was Maverick), and Charade (was Perfect Double).

I also reread Branded by Fire so at halfway I am on track to finish the Psy/Changeling series reread on time for the next release.
