Nawww. The warrior princess is pretty oblivious to temperature. Also to timelines/dates. I helped Abraham, when he was asked to sacrifice his son. I helped Cleopatra. I helped Helen of Troy. Oh yeah, I helped the Israelites when their Ark of the Covenant got swiped from them. And I had some discussions with film and TV directors (in one episode). I suspect Marc has a time-control contract with "my people", but I don't pay attention to the details.

heh. we had pouring rain and wind today. i had to go to an appointment and got drenched, despite my umbrella. the worst was i think i stepped in a puddle (what am i saying. the entire city was a puddle) and my feet got wet. i hate that.

So Hugo and Lefty are damp? Poor things.

I'm full of admiration for the hardy warrior princess. If only I could be oblivious of temperatures. I could save a fortune on heating bills, especially since they have all gone up a lot.

Hugo and Lefty were damp. that being clearly an intolerable situation for everyone concerned, immediately upon arriving home i took them off and hung them up to dry near the heater, and put on some dry socks (two pair, in fact). everyone felt much better after that.

We saw a fox at the entrance to the National Park the other day. Apparently it hasn't found the poison yet. I'm sure the folks 'round here who hate the native Scrub Turkeys will be pleased with its presence.

My cat played fetch too, he'd do it till he was out of breath while his sister eyed him with contempt and left in disdain.

BTW Martha the squirrel (I've talked about her before:she was real) used to tease both of them, parading under the bay window while they growled in frustration.
