Re: the In Death series -

I like the narrator of the audiobooks. I listened to the first one and have read 2-4. I have the audiobooks for 6-8 and will probably listen to those instead of reading. Of course, audiobook narration is intensely personal. If you think you might not like the narrator's style, you should listen to a sample or get it from the library.

I liked the first book but I LOVED the second one. The secondary characters add so much, and book 2 was great for getting to know them more.

Read: At Last (Lucky Harbor #5)... 3.5/4 stars.

I'm also in mourning over the expiry of my library card from my old town. They had such a great eBook collection! My new city has a pitiful collection... going to make a serious dent in my calibre library this year!

OMG!! Who is an Outlander fan. I just was forwarded a trailer for the screen adaptation. I had no idea. From what I watched it looks real good!

I have not had cable for a while and now it looks like I need to sign back up.

How many remakes of movies and shows have we seen. It was like no one had any original ideas left. I mean, they have remade Robocop and Spiderman. They were not that old!

And, how many times have we been criticized for the so called porn or smut books we read. It seems that alot of our books are getting adaptions. I just looked up some on RT website. Seems that what we are reading is not so stupid any more.

I can think of several books that would make a good movie. I was just doing research to find out if there will ever be a In Death movie. I guess Nora sold the rights to the wrong person. I don't think there will be a sequel to One For the Money but I think Stephanie Plum would make a awesome TV show don't you?

I don't see us getting Starz so hopefully Amazon will sell it sooner or later.

What we need is authors who don't sell the rights to their books without getting a good contract to make sure it is followed through and done right.
