Congrats VydorScope! When I was younger I loved a challenge, of pretty much any kind. If an opportunity came up, I was happy to embarrass myself to no end figuring things out on the fly, for the joy of learning. I'm starting to lose that. Specifically, I really hate networking. I can't even tell when I'm embarrassing myself anymore. Unless it's all. the. time. In which case I can tell. |

Just had a flash fiction piece accepted for Schlock! Webzine, and I'm currently finishing up a short story. I have no idea, at this point, where to send it. My goal, at this point, is to finish the novella I'm working on (which is almost finished); and then, I plan to finish my novel (probably about 80% finished). Doc Vandal should be draft complete by the end of the month, and then it's on to the sequel. That will be pulp adventure set in Antarctica. Current working title is either "Trilobites of Terror" or "Glacier of Insanity." |

Well dne, Lemurion. But if Doc Vandal is only draft complete, won't you go on to the first re-write before starting the sequel?

Also, I've outlined enough that the plot's not going to change much at all, and I write pretty clean first drafts anyway. | |

Interesting pov, Lemurion. It goes quite a bit further than the advice I got when I'd finished the first draft of my first novel. "Let it lie for a couple of weeks before you begin the re-write."

I finally finished 4 more flash fiction [prose poem] pieces and sent them out to Schlock! Webzine. The editor accepted them all! Now to work on that short story that I keep putting away.... |
