No you're right. There are several families here who died due to burns, smoke inhalation, or suffocation after their homes caught on fire. A few weeks ago three siblings aged 3, 5, and 7 along with their mother passed away after their house caught on fire. A few months ago a mother and her four daughters were killed when their villa caught on fire, in an attempt to save them, the husband used his 4x4 vehicle to ram a hole through the home's back wall but unfortunately it didn't do any good.

Just got back from the Lego Movie - great marketing tool - I'm surprised they didn't wait to release it at Thanksgiving for Xmas buying ...

That said - it was quite impressive - and fun for adults - I'd guess most of the allusions/references were lost on the kids (very 80's) - but non-stop action and breaking/rebuilding .... a mite over preachy at the end.
But fun on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon.

Searching for an iPad Mini. I've decided I don't care for Android. I've an iPhone 5 and a large iPad that are very comfortable for use when out and about. I've tried using a Samsung Galaxy for the past two months (to give it a fair trial) but it's just not as user-friendly as the i-stuff. Of course for reading I still prefer a dedicated e-reader like my Kobo, but for toys, nothing seems to beat IOS.

Well this smart watch won't solve that particular problem (no speakerphone). What it does do is show all my notifications, lets me cycle through my music collection, and shows caller ID.

Now there is another smart watch on the market called the "Mota". It has speakerphone capabilities and is only like $80-90. Shows caller ID, but not your notifications (which is why I gave it a pass).

I want it all, seems like that isn't that impossible

I'm loading apps into my new iPad Mini. I found someone yesterday who was selling one at a good price, and snapped it up. I'll fill it up and see if I really do prefer it to the Android tablet that I was using as a 'walk-around' device.
