Connie used to like big, American Cockroaches, and would delight in bringing them into the bedroom at Zzzelda (4am) in the morning and crunch-crunch-crunching them up next to the bed. It was worse when they were still half-alive, and she'd play with them a bit.

My dogs eat pretty much anything. And I mean anything: you probably don't want me to describe a couple of the worst things they've eaten.

ShortNCuddlyAm, if you like Raffles, might i recommend the Arsène Lupin books by Maurice Leblanc (quite a few of which are also available here, thanks to RWood). he's the french gentleman thief, and the stories are very entertaining.

With some variation, it sounds like a good name for a movie: Meat-up, the Bloodening. I'm thinking it'll be a zombie flick.

I'm currently considering having a shower, and looking at the large dragonfly perched on the pelmet above my head. How do you get a dragonfly out of your house - poor bugger'll bash himself to death in here, but he's way too fast to catch. I'll open the other door; that might help his chances.
