Finally I bought 16 ebooks. Now I will wait till the are charged from my credit card. Than I will see if the code still works. I had really enough books to read, now I have a few more.

Yep - after your credit card has been charged the code will still work (based on past experience).

It's only after you start receiving Kobo purchase receipts that the code will probably stop working.

fdkY9rd for 90% off is stil working and I am glad so many are enjoying it. And thanks for all the K!

As for the credit card - my card is getting charged for each transaction and I get notified from the bank about the charge. So I guess that all who are worried that they'll be later charged for full amounts - that is not the likely scenario. As Katsunami said, worst case you might get your payments reimbursed and boosk taken out of library.
But I don't see that happening - 95comic was similar situation and I bought many books that time as well. Kobo's receipts were late, but the amount I paid remained the same - 5% of the retail price Bank cannot charge me for what I have not authorised as payment.
As for the card companies accepting strange addresses - I have the same experience wherever I shop online - they care about the data printed out on your card and anything else - passwords, OTP - that only you might know. Other stuff seems not to matter. And this includes shopping on Amazon too.

Works in South Africa but ONLY in FireFox which shows the NEW style checkout. Didn't work in Windows Explorer which uses the old style checkout. Paid with credit card.

Have used it three times so far today :-)

Those having trouble getting the code to work, perhaps use FireFox?

Sometimes that happens after you make several purchases in a short time; fifteen seems to be my limit. After a while (on the order of hours, not minutes or days), the limit clears and you're good to go again.

ETA: I hit the 15-transaction limit earlier tonight, and it cleared within four hours. That is, I tried again about an hour later, and when that didn't work I waited a bit longer than two more hours - in case my it's-been-an-hour attempt reset the timer. Thus, the hold time could be anywhere between about 90 minutes and four hours.

Are you using the new checkout or the old checkout?

The code only works on the new checkout.
