If you are converting to all MOBI for use with the Kindle and want to email them, do you have to use both or old in the conversion setting. All of my MOBI files just say MOBI not the ORIG_MOBI.

Is there a reason you don't want to send them directly to the Kindle via USB? And yes, either should work.
