Good morning! A big morning for Canadian curling fans, with Team Canada (Jennifer Jones rink) taking the Gold in Sochi this morning. Tight game, right up until the 9th when they stole 2 to take a 3 shot lead into the final end.

But now I'm seriously in the hole, and likely to have to turn off Mobileread for a couple of weeks. I need to focus. And to get me going, a big mug of Peet's Major Dickason's coffee.

Well, he'd best hurry, cause I need to get serious here. Having lost the rest of the morning to the Canadian Women's Hockey team, who just pulled a gold medal out of nowhere! Down 2-0 with a little over three minutes remaining, and they end up winning in OT 3-2.

I decided to take an overnight walk in the jungle around that lake I found last week, rode the bike back there and started walking. Somehow, in my wanderings, the road got lost and I had to spend an extra, unplanned night in the jungle.

What's in Your Cup?

I called, PAL A, 'What are you drinking tonight?'
HE said, 'Café au lait', with much delight.
He said he'd gone to her woman's,
On an invite.

I took out my bottle,
Found it empty
Ran toward the kitchen then,
To turn on the faucet and get a fill!

Called PAL B then, 'What occupies your cup tonight?'
She said, 'Shroom juice, to make myself reignite!'
She said she'd gone to her man's,
And was staying there overnight.

I wonder why not get a little of that juice,
Let myself a little loose?
But here I am, standing and thinking,
My bottle is filling still!

Called my step Pa at last, 'What's in your cup tonight?'
'Green tea son. Are ya alright?'
He hung up, without waiting for my answer,
I thought this conversation was most trite!

Checked my cabinets, there was neither tea nor coffee,
Should I ask my Pa in that other house, should I plea?
My bottle started overflowing then, saltless and tasteless sink water,
I am drinking it now, what else could there be for me?
