Calibre print out

Ok amazing i can t find the answer elseware so i am here.

Using calibra and can t figure out yet how to print out a list of the books; its 300 now that i have in calibre; can t find what to click on or how to select all; then copy / paste to my office program etc or what ever i have to do ?

So what do i keep missing; or should i be using another e book reader that easy to print from how do i get that one and then how do i print out from their ?

What have i missed in calibre ? Awaiting some help - thanks

If you create a CSV file then you can load the results into any spreadsheet program, arrange the results into the format you prefer and print that.

Ok where are you found this and i am lost " By alpha title_split_000.html " a bunch like like that; so what do i do now still no 300 book titles in site so need more help .

Guess you have left oh well tryed to create CVS and all i get is weird xxx and ooo gues i ll peek in later somebody should help me a bit - later

CSV (Comma Separated Variables) is useful if you have a spreadsheet program like Excel and you're familiar with using it, or you have a text editor that can lay out a CSV as a list of fixed width columns.

Try one of the ebook formats (AZW. EPUB or MOBI)

why is it never easy just tryed making an e pub book list and all i get is the by alpha thingy so what now any ideas still no 300 book listing grrrr .

Maybe you could help US by providing accurate details of what you ARE doing, possibly even screen shots.

Ok try this -

been clicking about and found this the " by title " lines thingy are the letters of the alphabet and once you click on that it opens and lists those books for that letter; guessing no one here ever used that weird; so now how do i combine those those 26 lines/letters into one list of 300 books; shouldn t have to select all/copy then paste in 26 times to get onto libre office ? ?

how do i provide " shots " and of what; never heard of that before; just looking to get a print out of 300 bks from calibre shouldn t that be a snap so far it isn t .

Depending which format you choose you then have the option of selecting what and how to group in the second tab, when you select CSV option in Create Catalog you can select the columns you want 'printed'

You can read the CSV file into Libre Office Calc, maybe you can import it into Libre Office Writer as a Table

Geez... Do we have to spell it out STEP BY STEP for you.

Click on the ARROW besides the CONVERT BOOKS icon at the top of the screen
Select the CREATE A CATALOG OF THE BOOKS IN YOUR CALIBRE LIBRARY
For CATALOG FORMAT on the OPTIONS tab select CSV
Supply a NAME for the CATALOG TITLE
In the CSV/XML options tab select what FIELDS you want to include in your catalog
Click the OK button at the bottom of the screen

You will see a spinning ICON in the bottom right of the calibre screen while a job runs to make the catalog

When this job ENDS, you will be prompted for a location to store this catalog.

That file can now be opened via a tool like EXCEL or Open Office and printed.
