The combination of paper-like reflective low-power color LCD 10" tablet and good stylus would be the killer device for me, but regrettably it will probably take another couple of years before some device finally hits the market, now that Amazon owns Liquavista and Pixel-Qi and Mirasol failed to deliver.

SONY has released the first firmware update for DPT-S1. So by analyzing the update one may be possible to hack the device? I think it's still an android based device like T1 and T2.

No way this would work, this needs to be adapted to the extremely specific hardware in the Sony Reader, especially the screen (remember a E-ink display works drastically different to a normal lcd) and the wacom layer..

There is no such thing as a stock ICS Rom
