Well - we got another 6" this afternoon - so we did our part to lessen your load!

I'm still a bit shaky today - when the snow storm started this afternoon I had a physical 'panic attack' - my lower back & legs seized up hard as a rock so that I was unable to bend or walk without pain. Kind of a physical flashback. Settled down with heating pads and a Xanax - followed by a scalding hot shower. Doing better now - planning on 2 fingers of Lagavulin for a nightcap with another Xanax. Got to put yesterday's nightmare behind me. Staying home from work tomorrow - roads are still unsafe.

Add in my anniversary, sunny blue skies, and good music, and it's going to be a great day! We're going to take a long walk this morning, ending up in town for lunch with friends, but first... "Yorkshire" tea and delights from the Food Lady. Then put on lots of 'sun-block!' My apologies to those stuck in the cold wintry East coast USA

The horse is bronze and never needs to be walked, exercised, nor have its stall mucked out. It's gilded as it's a Feng Shui talisman for the Year of the Horse, and it's rearing up, with it's hoofies resting on a pile of gold bullion, to bring wealth and prosperity into my wife's life... so I'll have more money to spend on toys. I thought this would be a good present.
I just cooked a lovely pork roast, with a brown sugar/cinnamon/clove/pineapple glaze, roasted sweet potatoes, and corn on the cob. THIS is the real present that we can share for our anniversary. She was drinking wine, I was/am drinking ice tea. In another hour or so we will retire to the couch for the end of Casablanca, a glass of Bombay Sapphire, and a cuddle! (She don't need no puppy fer a cuddle! She gots me!)
