Just a note she writes Women's Fiction so I'm not sure if there is a HEA to her books.

It looks to me that Rosetta Books is going strictly Amazon now. I've gotten all of Sala's book that have been free so far. Kind of Ironic when you think about the fuss she made a few years back about giving away free books.

I found out when I searched the book on goodreads to read the reviews. MYK is useless so I put everything I own into shelves to goodreads. It has helped me often to prevent buying the same book again if it got a new kindle number. I know I could search on MYK, but I have had many times where a book wouldn't come up in one search, but did at another. So I trust my shelves more on goodreads and booklikes.

I noticed that I can add my Kindle library to goodreads via the Kindle Fire app pretty easily. When I can wrench the Kindle Fire out of my 7 yo's hands I'll have to try that option. Then I'll have a lot more sorting options for my books.

You can also import your library into Shelfari. Much easier to do.



OT: They are calling for 5 to 8 inches of snow here! We seldom get more than inch or two here in the Tricities but last time we got this much snow was 2008 I believe. So good thoughts we don't lose power like in 2008 when a tree branch feel on our power station and we live without power for 3 days. Thank goodness we go have a four wheel drive now instead of that little Ford car. We live up a big hill and when we had inch last month hubby was playing escort to people who couldn't make it up. I didn't get much sleep at all I think it's the whole anticipation of this big storm that suppose to happen.

We are getting the edge of that storm....we might get 8" too, it depends. We really need a four wheel drive vehicle. Maybe next winter.

Thanks for the suggestion. Trying it now. It's just taking a while for my library of 4,000+ books to load. I hope the site won't time out!

It seems JB Lynn has Plagiarize Wendy Roberts. I own JB Lynn's books but it seems the book in question is called Nearly Departed and was self published by Gemma Haliday. Poor Gemma. She pulled the book. I compared the two books and yes both Chapter ones start out with the heroine talking to a ghost and being late for her sister's birthday party after that I didn't read more as pointed out on Sarah's blog's SBTB there are too many same scenarios. I wonder if her Avon books are originals now.


She is a talented writer so why she would need to do this is beyond me!

I sometimes wonder how many more things like that go on in the sea of especially contempo and NA romances.


eta: I get it now after reading SBTB. Haliday was the publisher for Lynn, who plagarized Wendy Roberts.

JB Lynn plagarized Wendy Roberts. The book's publisher is Gemma Halliday who had no clue what was going on. She pulled it. Gemma has recently started her own publishing company and the book in question was published unknownly by her company. JB Lynn who is published also by Avon is the one stealing scenes from Wendy Roberts.

This isn't a cut and dry case and the wording has been significant change so it's not a word for word case. It's scene by scene she stole.

Yes but she writes Funny Romantic Suspense for Avon. The Avon series is about an Assassin who has a talking lizard which is why I posted it here so people will know.

The Cozy Mystery she released was copied from the Ghost Duster series by Wendy Roberts.

So who knows if her other books are the same way but no one caught it yet.

Yes, I know the cozy series, I've purchased some books from Gemma Halliday's company. And JB Lynn has removed this series from her page too.

Yeah she's not talking and probably hope it will blow seeing Wendy doesn't think she can do much against JB Lynn so it's up to us readers while I can't get my money back for her books I can decide not to buy anymore.
