I have just received an email from Sony saying that I haven't logged in there for awhile and giving me a £5 code as an incentive so to do.

This was much appreciated, and as they removed the necessity for using their software to download some time ago I used the code to download a freebie. Although it's price was slightly less than £4

So thank you very much Sony for the above and the freebie, and I shall add Readerstore UK to my list of stores to peruse...

I'm sorry Sony store is closing.

I'm glad Sony UK came to their senses and stopped insisting we use their software, doubly so now.

I still love their Televisions and Hifi gear.

No I got an email about the US & Canada stores closing, but can the UK store's closure be far behind ?

Also I am wondering if the £5 code is desperation on their behalf ?

I hope it doesn't close as the less the competition the worse it is for the customer.
