Well, I checked PNG output and compared size vs KindleComicParser output. Even with png KCC still creates mobi ~35% bigger than KindleComicParser.

You can't compare KCC with KindleComicParser. What quality setting you use?

Also again. Even if you check PNG output there is no PNG files in MOBI.

I am sorry but how can I get the file to behave like the Kindle Paperwhite Sample? I mean, the double-tapping and zooming? I only manage to get a common mobi file not capable of zooming, and tapping only takes me to the next page! I have MANGA MODE AND High Quality enabled but they don't make a difference

All files created with Paperwhite profile have support of Panel View by default.

Make sure you don't convert MOBI with any other tool (including Calibre) during upload.

(Also try double taping :-) )

I was looking more attentively and apparently the images only zoom a small amount, they are not divided into full quarters after double tapping.
It's the same view, only slightly nearer. What do you think is causing this?

(Also, when this happens, an empty rectangle appears at the bottom right corner of the screen.)

Well in this case your source images are too small. Panel View is displaying images in original size.

Am I doing something wrong or is the release you postet for a 64bit system?
I have Win 7 32 bit.

Got this program to work, and it formats the pages great!

However...I'm finding that panel detection is a bit hit or miss.

Is anyone else having the same issue? I'm concerned I'm missing a setting

Well. There is no panel detection at all.

KCC use Panel View feature to display image in original size (but not bigger than 1.5x screen) and in most cases it just zoom corner of images (excluding margins).

One question - why first image isn't a cover when jpg files are converted to mobi ??
