Need A Little More Help Please
Thank you for helping earlier, now I am back with another question.
Wow, what great info on this site. Ok, apparently for my Kindle 3 3g, I should be converting my books from epub and others to azw3 instead of mobi. Ok how do I change the default from Mobi to azw3? I ran the welcome screen and that didn't help, I searched the help data base and couldn't find it. Any help again would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You may also have to change the device configuration to tell calibre that your Kindle supports azw3 -- support was added via a firmware update, so calibre IIRC defaults to not assuming you can read it.

While your Kindle is plugged in, click the arrow next to the "Device" icon and select "configure this device". Make sure azw3 is checked under available formats, and then use the up arrow to move azw3 to the top of the list.

Man the internet is just the best. How in the world did we live before it become available to us mortals? My favorite serendipity story is when I was looking for some better quality pics of some of Monet's works and I found them on a site that also had a Pee Wee Herman worship page. Monet and Pee Wee......you gotta love it.
