Milk Oolong with Peanut Butter waffles, strawberries, whipped cream, and bacon. Oh so yummy. Starting dinner, dirty rice with chicken, in the crock pot soon. Then maybe a nap.

sparkling water. headed for the puppy park soon.
why can't two legged parents understand that it is a designated 4 legged park, and the needs, desires and wants of the small 2 leggeds will not only be ignored, but discouraged? they have their own parks, lots of them |

Cool tap water, from the graduate school-logoed portable drinking vessel in my bedroom. But with each trip to the kitchen, I take a swig from my fridge-stash of a tall "Bosco Chiller Diller" (milk flavored with Nabisco - not Bosco - chocolate syrup, and ginger ale).

First mug of tea for the day. But after this it will be coffee in foam cups on the highway.

Started with Peet's English Breakfast, but have now switched to Murchie's Lapsang Souchong. A hearty brew indeed.

![]() Stood Running Bear Young Indian brave On the other side of the river Stood his lovely Indian maid Little White Dove was her name Such a lovely sight to see But their tribes fought with each other So their love could never be Running Bear loved Little White Dove With a love big as the sky Running Bear loved Little White Dove With a love that couldn't die ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9V-9dSPb_A ) Some of the graphics in this video are really beautiful. No reality, but pretty.) Good morning, everyone. We spent yesterday afternoon in one of the Karen hilltribe villages up in the mountains yesterday afternoon, helping to distribute blankets and warm jackets, and it got me thinking about all native peoples around the world and the misconceptions that abound. Winter temps fall close to freezing in the evenings in January and February in the mountain villages in northern Thailand, and most of these folks live in homes built from woven split bamboo... If there ARE windows, there is certainly no glass in them... and the only warmth comes from open fires outside... It's good to remind myself just how fortunate I am... A lot of people are content with a lot less. Starting today with some tea one of the village women gave me. She knows I'm a tea drinker (I've been visiting this village for many years, usually supply the photos for their elder's funeral pictures as I've taken thousands of family images there over the years.) It's locally grown tea that they process into an Oolong-type tea and sell in roadside stalls. Tastes like sh!te, but drinking it keeps me thinking. I don't want to forget... Stitchawl |
