My iPad shows the new MYK, my iMac still shows the old. Weird!

And I've been reset to the old version. Clearing the cache and cookies and logins did not get me back; the special link to the new version redirects to the old.

You can set them any way You want from the tab on the top right corner. Author...Date...Title. Amazon ONLY Rents Text Books. So unless you have those you wont see anything under that.

FireFox on my Mac Mini shows the new MYK page but FireFox on my HP Laptop running Windows 7 doesn't. IE 10 on my HP Laptop shows the new MYK page though. My iPad mini shows the new MYK page too.

Firefox on Android works for me (where nothing else has so far). Very slow on my 3+ year old device, and the page sort of crashed when I scrolled too fast.

I will need to try this on a desktop browser to see how performance is but I think it is not too bad.

Hope they will add some cookie or other to remember that I like List view. And it would be nice if they added back the 'on the fly' search results as you type in a search term, rather than making you hit the Search button before doing anything.

Yikes. No more info on how many books are in the archive. No info on date purchased unless when clicked on a link called details in list view. There is no option at all in cover view. Then to see the purchase price you have to click another link in the popup that came up when clicking details.

Can't sort by oldest date first. To load all my 2000 books I'd have to scroll down and down and down and wait who knows how long.

I sure hope they are just testing this. There is less info now than there was before.
When I click on a device the items on that device have a checkmark while those that are not have a arrow. But there is no way to sort by those on device so they are mixed in with all the 2000 books.

I am going to assume they are still fiddling with this.

Ah, now that's interesting. Original iPad Mini with iOS 6.1.2. Could be iOS, could be the difference between the retina & original screens.

Note to those looking for dates and purchase price: this information is still readily visible in list form if you go to Your Orders->Digital orders (or directly from the "View Your Digital Orders") from the Your Account page. That page is also searchable if you're looking for a specific book.

I'd still rather it be viewable from the main MYK page.

Works with iOS Safari on my iPod Touch (which shall forever run iOS 6).

I would note that the design is MUCH more mobile friendly than the old one. It scales to the tiny screen and things are big enough to tap on without zooming in.

Yes what does not scale is the seemingly endless list. But honestly, once you have hundreds of items, the only efficient way to find things is using search.

If they add collection management that may help some.

Hopefully this is not the end and they'll continue to refine it, instead of neglecting it for years as with the previous malodorous design.

I had to try the Paperwhite browser. Unfortunately it still shows the old design, which is marginally navigable but only barely.

I'm still on the old version on both the computer (Windows 7; Firefox and Chrome) and on the iPad (iOS 7, Safari).

Other than curiosity about it, I don't really have any immediate need for the new version though, so I can wait.

Unfortunately I do not think they are because this scrolling thing is exactly how the Find Whipersync Voice Matches page is. That was tolerable because that page only loaded several hundred pages, but this having to scroll for @3800 books, I am not a happy camper!!

Ok, I am compiling my list of issues for my feedback to CS, here is my list so far:

Problems
-Must continuously scroll down on page in order for all books to show up in library, this should have stayed as it was with no user intervention necessary
-Lost the ability to sort in ascending or descending order
-Lost the total count of all books in the list view.
-Lost the ability to see the date purchased when in List View
-When switching from cover grid or list view, you then have to continuously scroll down to get all books visible.
-In Books view there are subsections for loans and rentals but there is no subsection for Amazon purchases only
- in Device view, the books on the device should be listed first, in the sort order that is selected. Then all the remaining books should be listed, once again in the sort order selected.
- In Device view, the option to remove books from the device would be nice.
-Books I've purchased after borrowing from a library are showing as "loan expired" and are not available to download to devices.


Improvements
-Multiple books can be selected and sent to device or deleted from library
-Searching is quicker
-the Preorders subsection now shows more preorders, as opposed to the old way which only showed 7 or so.

I still haven't updated.

I am hoping someday they'll make a mobile friendly version of the site. But. I'm not holding my breath. This version sounds ridiculous on a non-mobile site!
