Reading life missing on Kobo Glo

Hi guys, reading life is missing in my Kobo Glo. What do I have to do to make it show? Do I have to install something?

Check that your Reading Settings have the appropriate box ticked (down the bottom)
Check that you're connected to the internet
Then go to your homepage, click Extras, choose Awards

What do you see then?

I can see my awards and my reading stats. Can't I see my facebook timeline though, like in my iPhone's Kobo app?

When I start to read or finished reading a book on my iPhone's Kobo app, it automatically updates my Facebook timeline. However, it doesn't do that on my Kobo Glo. Is this feature really missing on Kobo Glo?

I'm sorry, I have no idea. That's not something I use. I can share a quote to Facebook, but I've not heard of your reader automatically updating to Facebook (and that seems like a terrible idea to have as default behaviour - privacy, anyone?).

You may be able to see your facebook timeline from the browser. However an e-ink reader isn't primarily a social media device. Kobo has already said that Kobo Pulse, for example, isn't coming to their e-ink devices. So I wouldn't be surprised if the feature sets of Reading Life differ. Also, the Reading Life info page on the Kobo website shows tablets to illustrate, not ereaders.
