Dreams we drove around all night and didn't see any houses with a light on. Did you forget? We finally gave up and came back home amid a snow storm on the mountain and a wind and rainstorm in the valley. We are pooped. MaxPuppy will probably sleep all day. That's a good thing.

Now I've been cooking supper. A [CENSORED] and cashew nut stir-fry, with the [CENSORED] cut small and deep-fried in an egg white/cornflour mixture before being used in the stir-fry.

It's all ready now, waiting for supper time, when it'll be a ten minute job to put it all together….

Sorry, I wasn't busy cooking pancakes. I don't like pancakes, they tend to become too soggy as I eat them. I'd rather have waffles.

This made me put House of Cards - the original British production (and one of the finest miniseries ever made) on my Netflix watchlist .... Francis Urquhart always played to win ...
