Random House books I have been watching have all just increased 15% in price on the Kobo NZ site, so today I need a 35% promo code to get the same price a 25% code would have got me yesterday.

Kobo Aus has now got a "Daily Deal" .... it's siutuated about halfway down the Home Page, and it doesn't have a listing up the top like say the UK, Canadian and English site Home pages show.

But unlike the other countries mentioned Daily Deals (that I've seen) the book is not around the $2 mark - instead it's $4.99

No - the book doesn't interest me ... but parity of pricing and Daily Deal equivalent low prices do!!

Silly Kobo ... I hope this is just a one off at $4.99 and not the norm

Most if not all of the Daily Deals for the US site have been Kobo just picking a book to highlight that the publisher already had on sale, not special discounting by Kobo.

Yep, the book's are generally dearer here, but if Kobo is mimicking Amazon's Daily Deal then they need to round it off at the $2 mark and below.

Kobo do sell books at $4.99 and below here, and had a right side column at one stage linking the viewer to books in your chosen category that were $4.99 and below. Although I've just looked and can't find that now - and it may have been removed.

If this Daily Deal is new for Kobo Aus, and I think it may have only started today (or maybe yesterday?) then they should've put a book with a price that would ensure the consumer considers looking at the site every day, instead of people saying the obvious - they got it wrong, lol.

I cannot get DECEXCLUSIVE to work on anything, and I can get the other codes to work so it is a couponable book.

Maybe it's expired. I thought that the 'dec' might stand for December. Also, it is only a single use code - so you haven't used it before?
