Duck Rabbit Milk Stout from the Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery, Farmville, NC. It was like drinking spiked chocolate milk - if you adore chocolate, this is the brew for you. Not for my palate.

Good Sunday morn, all! It's going to be a delightful day again, starting correctly with a cup of unbranded Keemun tea, Chinese sausage, Thai fried tofu, and Japanese rice. All eaten while appreciating a Thai sunrise. I like these kinds of mornings!

Fresh coffee in my cup and a biscotti on my plate.

Trying to help my mom figure out what is going on with her 2008 Vista desktop while talking to her on the phone is not easy. It keeps shutting down/freezing, then on restart it says "disk boot error, please insert ect ...." Finally found out that there is a clicking sound sometimes. It sounds like the hard drive is going, so we will be looking for a cheap desktop; something to be able to play solitaire and check email sometimes. Internet is only available through her home phone line and even that is hit and miss.

Oolong in my cup. The LM did fine on the plane. He slept most of the flight and then slept for four hours when we got home. Then he took a nap. He is thrilled to be back in a familiar enviroment. It was a great trip but it is wonderful to be home.

Good morning! Good tea for a good morning too. Ceylon UVA today. Not much left of it, but I think I can get some shipped in by friends back in Japan. Nice 'peaceful' tea, with no afterbite. Stands up to a second steeping too.

I wonder if winter is over for us? Already 28° and it's just past 8am. I wonder what sort of weather we'll find when we get down to the islands. I suppose I'd better check over my gear too... PPPPPP!

Sumatra coffee in my cup and really not wanting to get ready for work. Curling up and going back to sleep in my nice warm bed sounds much better than work.

Fresh squeezed orange juice. Soon to be followed by English Breakfast tea. I am not looking forward to trying to work today, since I chopped off the end of my finger yesterday. Really annoying to try to touch type with a largish bandage on it.

FWIW, dreams, I thought of you when I got an email today from Peet's. They're doing 3 special limited roastings of Sumatra Batak Peaberry. Very tempting indeed.
