Cloud music not showing up on my kindle.

I have been purchasing music from Amazon on my phone and I now have opened my kindle fire hd to the cloud and it does not show any of it. If I go to search for music it shows all my music as purchased but still only plays the preview when I click on them. I looked at some other threads that said there was a refresh cloud option in the menu but I do not see that either. Thank you in advance for your help.

Tap Music from the Main Menu. At the top of the screen you will see: Cloud - On Device.

Tap Cloud and then do a long hold on the song and then tap Download.

I am not trying to download the music I have purchased. Thank you though. None of the 50+ songs that I have purchased over the last few days are showing up at all when I hit the cloud tab. If I go to the store on my kindle and search for some of the music I have purchased they come up as such. If i tap on the purchased tab it asks if I want to purchase it again. If I press the play button on the same song that says purchased it only plays the 30 second preview. Why would it say they are purchased and then they are not in the cloud? Thanks again...

Are your phone and Kindle Fire HD registered to the same Amazon account?

If they are, go to your Manage Your Kindle page under your Account and look for your digital purchases. Click the button on the far right and send them to your Kindle Fire HD.

I'm no expert (you can really trust me on that one) but if the music is on your phone but not in the cloud, would you have upload it to the cloud before your Kindle can "see" it?

Usual disclaimer: No offense intended. If I have answered the wrong question, please forgive me. I'm not a novice at this Kindle stuff but there is a lot I can't figure out.

I'm in the same boat as you. That is why most of my posts get slammed. I'm really just learning as I go along. At my age I'm way out of the loop with these youngsters here.

This would be my question as well. When anyone I know has had this problem the device was registered to a different account than the one where the content was purchased.

Thank you for all the help. I finally got it. Apparently my kindle fire had some issue because when I powered it down, rebooted it and synchronized again it came up immediately. As far as the cloud thing goes when I have made all my purchases they automatically go into the cloud. You have to manually download to the device. Anyhow.... thanks again for your help and keep up the good work!!!!!
