How to pull B&N books off Nook?
My Nook ST just died and I replaced it with the new Glow Light. I just purchased a book with the GL and tried to download it to Calibre but I can't locate it in any of the directories. I Have done this before with my ST and had no problem. Is there anyway to access the B&N books on the new Nooks?

No, Barnes and Noble has deliberately blocked access, it doesn't appear as a Drive in Windows. Books are stored in two places: the internal system memory for B&N books, and the folder shown over USB for sideloaded books.

It is a new "feature".

you can install nook for PC and it allows you to download from your Barnes and Noble account to your PC, primarily so you can read on your PC also. I would recommend having the app anyways so that you can read your purchases on your PC since Calibre will not open DRMed books

And you are still missing that memory chunk on your device, but fair enough, that works too -- albeit requiring the installation of more useless programs (Thanks B&N!!).

And calibre will open DeDRM'ed books -- google Apprentice Alf.

You do not need to download Nook for PC. Click My Nook at the top right of the B & N Home Page. Log in and under My Library you can manually download any books, Magazines, Newspapers, Apps and anything else in your library.
