No problem, but I really don't think it's a PRSCustomiser issue. The Javascript clock code uses the time.getHours() and time.getMinutes() functions to grab current time from the OS, then display it. It does not alter the values it obtains. In other words, AFAICS, it's a read-only function.

Neither the 500 not the 505 have an actual clock chip, which means their time keeping is spotty at best. Typically, they rely on resyncing the time everytime they're connected to a computer.

For some reason, the joystick page turn hack doesn't seem to work well with ePub books, at least for me. The page forward works ok, but the page back jumps into the history, which seems pretty random. Anyone seeing anything similar?

Yes. The joypad option only affects page-forward. The left-arrow still is tied to history.

			Hi Jeff,

please let me ask somethink... ![]() In the reading-mode the most used function is surely the page-forward turn. Now with the hack, it is possible to use the right arrow key of the joypad to move forward, - very fine! My question now: would it be possible to program the big center joypad-button in addition to a page-forward turn too? This would be very nice. Only in reading-mode of course, in which short-pressing the center joypad-button is functionless until now. The "shut-off"-function (if this hack is enabled) works with longer pressing the button, so this maybe no problem. If nevertheless, perhaps it is possible to disable this function in reading-mode? I think, it would be sufficiently, if the shut-off-function works only in the main-menu. Thoran |

Nope. You need it if you want to enter a number page.

I suppose you could use a press-hold for forward page-turns though. Then you'd still have press for enter-key functions. Also, if you don't use the reader for music (I never do) the volume toggle could be remapped as enter.

Mapping the enter as a page turn button would lose too much other functionality. Not worth the hassle (IMHO).

Somewhere, someone asked about mapping the press and hold enter to suspend instead of turn off, could this be done?
